So birthdays have always been a big deal in my family. We go all out, with breakfast in bed, dollar bills for how old we are turning taped on the wall, lots of fun presents, and a big birthday dinner. For my 24th birthday this year I had a roller skating party which was my favorite party so far. So as November 5th was getting closer, Gavin told me he didn't want to do anything for his birthday this year and I was totally offended. I couldn't believe it, I was so dissapointed that he was acting like his birthday was no big deal. I decided not to listen to him, and I planned a party anyway.
He loves movies, so I thought it would be fun to have a movie themed birhtday party. We invited family and friends to come dressed up as their favorite movie character for a fun night of good food and movie trivia games. It was such a memorable night with our loved ones.
